What to expect?

  • An activity that gives you an (even) deeper connection with your baby, a space to check in with other parents and learn from each other & it’s always so much fin with a lot of babies and mamas together in the same space, chaotic and lovely.

  • The basic of Shantala baby massage, extras like techniques for cramps, predisposition, overstretching, tips & tricks from other parents and recognize similar situations.

  • The techniques & tips to do this at home, a baby who is probably tired and (hopefully) sleeps very well that day, a feeling of being more connected to your little one on a deeper level (if you also practice at home), a feeling of a fun morning where they also learned a lot.

Meet your Teacher

Hello, I'm Ike!

First and foremost I am a mother of 3, when I became pregnant I slowly changed into an (even)  better version of myself. I love to take care of these three little ones, who are learning me a lot. It is chaotic most of the time, also with running my own business next to it, however I would not want to miss it for the world.

The House of Balance is my own business, where everything is focused on pregnancy, birth and the time after. I am a yoga teacher since 2013 and since I got pregnant I knew I would like to support other pregnant mamas as well. My job gives me a lot of energy.

I love being surrounded by people and to take care of them. It makes me feel genuinely happy to work with expecting mamas and with babies.

At The Labour Dept. there a joining so many people with different backgrounds. It is such a safe space to feel at ease and to be together.
