Just as parents-to-be prepare themselves for a new life with a baby, an animal companion living in the home should also be prepared for the baby’s arrival.

This 1.5-hour class, led by Kelly DeBaene - a small animal veterinarian with over 10 years of experience, will provide an overview on how to prepare pets for a new baby, animal behavior and dynamics, and how to promote safe interactions into the future. There will be time for discussion, Q/A, and sharing of additional resources.

Parents-to-be will be taken through specific measures and precautions to promote safe interactions between pets and baby.
