About the Event

The root, our energetic base, is where we hold our sense of safety and grounding. When our root chakra is aligned, we feel solid, steady, firm. When our root chakra is out of whack, we might experience tension, panic, feel unsettled or ready to lead the next Doomsday parade.

Meet Malika at The Labour Department for an evening of wellness and stress redux. She’ll mix an elixir of healing sounds with guided meditations and contemporary poetry to help restore your sense of calm. She’ll bring along her crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, rattles, and a frame drum to this one-hour sound bath experience.

Afterwards, she can answer any questions you have about sound therapy, meditation, or surviving parenthood!
