About the Event

Join Isabel for a unique story time where she will read a book that gets us thinking and talking about big topics in an age appropriate way. After the story, we will do a creative activity to explore the theme a little more. In this story time series, we will cover topics ranging from making new friends, celebrating diversity, protecting the environment, and more!

Isabel is an Amsterdam-based early childhood educator and diversity and inclusion consultant (Kaleidoscope Consulting). She works with parents, caregivers, teachers, and school leaders to provide training and consultation. Isabel has been working in the field of education for over 20 years in the US and more recently in Amsterdam. She began her teaching career as a primary school art teacher and has been an early childhood teacher for the last 10 years. Throughout her teaching career, Isabel has been passionate about making "big topics" accessible to young children.
