Babies can’t tell you if something’s wrong. And you’ll probably naturally think everything is wrong. This session from UK-trained Paediatrician Dr. Camilla will help you keep a calm head around the million do’s, don’ts, normals and abnormals of fumbling your way through those early days.

Dr. Camilla is a UK trained Paediatrician. She relocated, with her family, to Amsterdam in 2018. She has a specialist interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and continues to work in the U.K National Health Service. Dr. Camilla teaches Paediatric Basic Life Support, including the management of choking and First Aid to parents and caregivers.

Where will this event take place?
The Labour Dept is located in the heart of Amsterdam west at 68 Postjesweg. Our Space is easy to get to by foot, bike or public transport (7, 17, 18, 1)
Does it matter where in my parenthood journey I am?
Unless specified, from pregnancy, to postpartum to raising teens- you're welcome to attend our events at any stage of your parenthood journey.
What facilities are available for babies?
We have a diaper changing station, water heater for bottles, breastfeeding chair and pillow and plenty of multisensory interactive toys for your mini.
What language will be spoken?
It's not uncommon for a group at The Labour Dept. to be made up with people from over 5 different countries. To accommodate our diverse community, all of our classes are taught in English.
How many people can I expect?
We like to keep things small in order to create an environment that facilitates community! On average we have between 5 and 15 participants.
Can I bring my mini?
We love babies and kids! Most of our events are mini friendly, if you're unsure please don't hesitate to send us an email thelabourdept@gmail.com
Can I bring my stroller or pram?
Our space is small, please avoid bringing a pram. Stroller parking is outside.
