About the Event

Shantala baby massage is a technique to connect with your baby. It helps them to have better sleep, to calm the nervous system, to have less cramps, to let them get used to their bodies and to better the connection between parent and child. To give them confidence in the rest of their lives. Besides that, also a very nice and calming activity to do with your little one. You can start baby massage around their 8th week until they start to crawl.

Who is this class for?

For parents who are looking for a calm activity with their baby, between 8 weeks and 6/7 months (do contact Ike if you are unsure about their age).

What will you leave with?

  • The basic techniques of shantala baby massage
  • A deeper connection with your baby and a knowledge of them on a different level.

What should you bring with you?

A blanket to cover the yoga mat and to keep your little one warm. Please wear comfortable clothes to sit on a mat.

When NOT to massage?

When your baby has a fever, in between 48 hours after they got vaccinated.

About your teacher

Ike Dielesen is mother of 3 and found out herself how it helped her little ones and her to massage them. To have a deeper connection with her children and to (mostly) listen to her children on another level. They still like to be massaged.  She also teaches prenatal yoga and likes to connect with other parents and provide them with tools to connect with themselves and their little ones. The more peaceful you can be, the more peaceful your child is as well.
