Shantala baby massage is a technique to connect with your baby. A massage to cover the whole body of your baby, to calm the nervous system of your baby, to have less cramps, to let them get used to their bodies and to better the connection between parent and child. To give them confidence in the rest of their lives. Besides that, also a very nice and calming activity to do with your little one. You can start baby massage around their 8th week until they start to crawl.
In four sessions of 75 minutes you will learn the basic techniques of the massage together with other parents. There is also time to share and connect with them.
During this class, Personal Trainer Olympe will combine self-massage, breathing techniques and tailored strength exercises to:
- Reduce sensation of gravity pulling
- Facifilate rib cage closure
- Reducing the diastasis recti (partial or complete separation of the rectus abdominis )
- Strengthening the deep abdominal muscles
- Maintaining the perineum
- Pelvis rehabilitation
- Prevent postural issues
