The Labour department knows your needs don't end at birth. We aren't here to sell you bibs or rattles. We provide quality goods and advice, by parents for parents.

To see our full selection visit our brick and mortar shop in Amsterdam west.

The shop is easy to get to by foot, bike or public transport (7, 17, 18, 1)​​Feel free to come solo or bring your mini. ​ 
 
Our space is small, please avoid bringing a pram.

Snack and beverages are available for purchase to stay.

Meet the founder

Hello, I'm Brooklyn Brownstone.

I am a marketer and mom originally from Toronto, Canada. Now living in Amsterdam west with my son and Dutch husband.Before moving to the Netherlands I ran a successful digital communications agency in Toronto.

After moving to Amsterdam I worked for Booking.com for 4 years until I left to invest full time in The Labour Department.
