Who Is This Class For?

This class is designed for English-speaking expats in the Netherlands—whether you're expecting your first baby or preparing for a growing family. It’s for anyone seeking to understand the mental health challenges that can arise from pregnancy to postpartum, and how to support themselves and their partners through this transformative time.​

What Language Will This Class Be Taught In?

This class will be taught in English, offering a supportive space for English-speaking parents-to-be living in Amsterdam, Delft, The Hague, and beyond.​

What to Expect?

Expect an interactive and educational session focused on the mental health journey from pregnancy to postpartum. The class is divided into two parts: the first half is informative, covering key signs and symptoms of mental health challenges, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts. The second half offers a space for open discussions on supporting each other as parents and navigating the relationship shifts that come with this life stage.

 

You will have the opportunity to share, ask questions, and engage in reflective exercises, allowing you to leave feeling more confident and informed.
