Meet your host
Elizabeth Goode is an award winning Teacher-Librarian from the United States. She has a Masters in Library and Information Science and for over a decade has been working in progressive education as a school librarian. She has a BA in Creative Writing and has taught numerous writing workshops to children.

Elizabeth and her family relocated to Amsterdam in the summer of 2022. After giving birth to her daughter in 2023, she saw an opportunity to bring her library skills to a new audience.
She began offering small group, private, English story times at the Labour Dept. in Autumn 2023 under the name Baby Bookworms, for children age 0-2 and their parents.

As an author herself, Elizabeth offers creative writing workshops for children ages 7-11 and 12-16 focusing primarily on character development and the structure of story.
​
As a former librarian, she also consults on building new library collections, flexible library space design, genrefication, and general library help.
